Next we'll visit Greater Kruger National Park, famous for its Big Five Game Viewing, hundreds of bird species, ancient trees, and mighty rivers. Next stop: The Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve. This place pioneered the LUXURY safari concept...the wildlife encounters and accomodations will be incredible! Finally, we'll end our adventure in the town of Victoria Falls. Located on the southern bank of the Zambezi River, it offers action-packed fun and a visit to one of the 7 natural wonders of the world!
Cape Town is a cosmopolitan city at the center of South Africa’s rich, multi-stranded history and heritage. You'll stay at the Victoria and Alfred Hotel (arriving via private transfer from the airport), situated in one of the country's top destinations, Cape Town's beautifully restored VA Waterfront. After settling in for a good night of rest, enjoy your first full-day private group tour of Cape Town City. Your tour includes entrance fees to Castle of Good Hope, District 6 and Museums. Later, proceed to Groot Constantia Estate for wine tour and wine tasting.
Your second full day in Cape Town will focus on visiting the infamous 'Cape Point', situated within the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve. Whilst journeying along the Atlantic coast, through the Hout Bay valley and over the famous Chapman's Peak Drive (subject to road conditions) and occasionally stopping at various sites of interest along the way. Your guide will discuss your individual interests and preferences and tailor make the day's routing and sightings accordingly. This affords you the advantage of total flexibility while still maintaining the expertise of a qualified guide.
In 1859 the first lighthouse was completed; it still stands at 238 meters above sea-level on the highest section of the peak and is now used as the centralized monitoring point for all the lighthouses on the coast of South Africa. Access to this historical building is by an exhilarating three-minute ride in the Flying Dutchman funicular (named after the local legend of the Flying Dutchman ghost ship) that transfers you from the lower station at 127 meters above sea-level, to the upper station.
Your full day tour includes entrance fees to Cape Point Nature Reserve including Cape Point Funicular, and Boulders Beach with an opportunity to meet the African Penguins.

Fly to Sabi Sand Private Game Reserve! This is the most famous and exclusive of South Africa's private reserves. The Sabi Sands Game Reserve is a 65,000 hectare private reserve, pioneered by local landowners and conservation enthusiasts in the 1950s. It shares its unfenced 50 kilometer eastern border with its world-renowned neighbor, Kruger National Park. Home to the Big 5, and particularly famous for regular sightings of the elusive leopard, Sabi Sands Reserve is one of the most game-rich parks in southern Africa. Named for the two rivers that run through it, Sabie River and Sand River, the reserve is home to great numbers of diverse game and more than 300 bird species.

Fly to Victoria Falls! A UNESCO Natural World Heritage Site, Victoria Falls are situated on the western tip of Zimbabwe. The Falls, known by the local Kololo tribe as Mosi oa Tunya- The Smoke that thunders, is one of the "Seven Wonders of the World" and one of the largest and most spectacular waterfalls on earth. The falls are 1, 7 kilometres wide and nearly 550 million litres of water cascade 70 to 108 metres into the chasm below -every minute- during the Zambezi River's peak flow. Victoria Falls is made of five different "falls". Four of these are in Zimbabwe: The Devil's Cataract, Main Falls, Rainbow Falls and Horseshoe Falls -and one, The Eastern Cataract, is in the bordering country of Zambia. Victoria Falls National Park covers an area of 56,000 hectares. The northern border of the Park is formed by the great Zambezi River which also forms the border between Zimbabwe and Zambia for much of its length. A wide variety of larger mammals may be found within the Zambezi National Park including The Big Five: elephant, lion, buffalo, leopard and white rhinoceros. In addition, herds of sable antelope, eland, zebra, giraffe, kudu, waterbuck and impala as well as many of the smaller species of game can be viewed. The Zambezi River is home to a large variety of fish and is famous for its bream and fighting tiger fish.
You'll stay at the Palm River Hotel. The river-side location could not be more idyllic, situated along the banks of the iconic Zambezi River, among towering indigenous trees and only four kilometers from Victoria Falls. Enjoy a Zambezi River sunset cruise on the Royal Zambezi. The Zambezi River cruise is a superb way to relax and enjoy the beauty of the River. Here, you may have the opportunity to see a variety of game; including hippo, crocodile, and elephant as well as enjoy the many different bird species. The Sunset cruise is very popular and includes finger snacks, beer, wine, local spirits and soft drinks. There are great photo opportunities against often-spectacular African sunsets.
Our epic adventure ends on 8 July, with a private transfer to the airport.
