Join us on an exclusive trip on a luxurious Paul Gauguin Cruise to the stunning islands of Tahiti – and elevate your experience with an optional 3-night stay in a lavish overwater bungalow in Bora Bora!
Say YES to PARADISE!
This immersive exploration is everything you imagine when you dream of the Islands of Tahiti. On our small ship cruise, prepare to visit sacred Raiatea, revered as the cradle of Polynesian culture; relish the serenity of Huahine, known as the Garden of Eden; indulge in the beauty of Bora Bora; and marvel at the dazzling lagoons of Moorea. Come discover paradise in living color—its azure waters, swaying coconut palms, and sun-kissed beaches are especially captivating when enjoyed on our own private motu.
July 17, 2027 Tahiti
The largest of French Polynesia's 118 islands, Tahiti, and it's capital city of Papeete are the perfect place to begin your South Pacific sojourn. The Gauguin waits patiently in the harbor, a vibrant and bustling market across the street and in the evenings roulottes (food trucks) line the nearby square offering tasty local fare.
July 18, 2027 Huahine
Don’t be fooled by the vibe of this laid-back, secluded island. Many treasures are hidden among the lush rainforest and dramatic terrain. With a bit of exploration, you’ll uncover some of the best-preserved archeological sites in French Polynesia. Underwater treasures await as well, with a snorkel excursion in the lagoon.
July 19, 2027 Raiatea
Blanketed in a lush landscape dotted with waterfalls, fertile valleys, and the cloud-capped Mt. Temehani, Raiatea is Polynesia’s most sacred island; it was from here that the earliest migrations set forth to settle in Hawaii, New Zealand, and beyond. The island boasts a rich Maohi history–it is home to the UNESCO-listed Marae Taputapuatea archaeological site–verdant mountains ideal for hiking, and a stunning lagoon perfect for snorkeling, swimming, and soaking up the heavenly tranquility.
July 20, 2027 Taha'a
As the day unfolds in front of you, where will you go? Exciting shore excursions await, but so does Motu Mahana, Paul Gauguin Cruises’ own private islet. Choose from swimming, snorkeling, kayaking, or simply lounging on the beach with a cold drink from our floating bar. Les Gauguines are also on hand to share musical entertainment and Polynesian crafts.
July 21, 2027 - July 22, 2027 Bora Bora
Explore lush peaks, wander white-sand beaches, and marvel at the iconic views of Mount Otemanu. Take the plunge with a SCUBA excursion to see the island’s colorful coral reefs, enjoy a sunset jetboat ride, or spend a lazy afternoon on a private beach. Like a priceless Paul Gauguin painting come to life, storied Bora Bora is colorful and unforgettable. The landscape alone will have you searching for adequate adjectives, especially once you see the lagoon—“turquoise” just doesn’t do it justice.
July 23, 2027 Moorea
Step into a vibrant, colorful world in bright and beautiful Moorea, which welcomes you with azure lagoons, impossibly fresh tropical fruits, stunning mountain peaks and palm-fringed beaches. Commune with nature on an optional dolphin-watching excursion with an expert marine biologist. Afterwards, spend some time getting to know the local residents while shopping for handmade crafts.
July 23, 2027 - July 24 Tahiti

We created this trip with intention — to give you an unforgettable, bucket list experience while maximizing your experience within your budget.
Cruising first lets us see several stunning islands — all in one trip, without the high cost of island-hopping by air or switching hotels. It’s luxurious and one of the smartest ways ($$) to see French Polynesia.
If you’ve always dreamed of waking up in an overwater bungalow in Bora Bora (who hasn’t?!), you’ll have the option to add that on at the end — a 3-night splurge that completes the dream. Since we’re cruising first, it makes the upgrade much more doable.
We are visiting the French Polynesia during an optimal season, to maximize the beautiful weather we'll encounter on our adventure!
We planned this trip to give you the best of both worlds — big dream energy, done smarter. Let’s check this off of your bucket list!
*International Airfare to/from your home to Tahiti is not included.
**The roundtrip airfare from Papeete to Bora Bora IS included if you book the Bora Bora extension.
